High School FAQ
The Harvard Women’s Soccer Staff will run a High School Team Program Aug 12-14, 2019 from 4pm-7pm. The clinic serves as a mini pre-season program for each high school team including technical, tactical and SAQ sessions. The goal of the High School Team Program is to best prepare the team for the upcoming season. The program will be limited to six high school teams and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
What should players bring?
All participants should bring the following:
No, the High School Team Program is a commuter clinic. The Crimson Soccer School is not responsible for player’s travel to and from the clinic.
How are the team’s organized?
Teams will be trained together during the program. Prior to the clinic we will request information from the High School Coach regarding areas of focus for each team. Teams will receive technical, tactical training and speed, agility and quickness sessions.
Is there a specific goalkeeping program?
Yes, we will have a goalkeeper coach on staff who will work specifically with the keepers during technical sessions. We will integrate the keepers into small sided games and full field games.
How does the registration process work?
Teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. If you know your team is attending, players may REGISTER HERE. Each player will need to provide payment and a signed waiver prior to participation. Each team must have a minimum of 14 players.
What is the clinic schedule?
The schedule and curriculum have been designed to replicate the college environment and maximize opportunities for learning and development. The evenings will be broken into three training blocks that include technical and tactical sessions, SAQ training. Each team will also play games vs. other High School Teams.
Do you offer any discounts?
Unfortunately we do not offer any discounts. NCAA rules prohibit us from doing so.
What is the refund policy?
There are no refunds within 14 days of the program, however, credit will be given for future programs. Refunds will be honored 14 days prior to the program with good reason, however, a $50 administrative fee will be charged.
What is the inclement weather policy?
Our website will be updated at 2pm daily, please check if the weather is in doubt. We have access to an indoor facility on campus for shelter if the weather dictates.
Each player will also receive a T-shirt from the program.
